The J&D Collective x UltraBoost 1.0 'Core Black’ was designed by adidas creative directors Dirk Schönberger and James Carnes for the adidas Ultra Boost Collective program in 2015. This iteration differentiates itself from the regular Ultra Boost 1.0 with a Dyneema fiber in the Primeknit construction, a snakeskin pattern on the midfoot cage and a leather tongue. The shoe’s tan insoles come branded with the names of the two designers. It dropped at adidas Consortium accounts alongside a white model in June 2015.
