adidas played with its archival designs of their 90s running shoes and reinterpreted them into their groundbreaking P.O.D. system. The sock-like knit upper of the adidas P.O.D. S3.1 'Grey' sneaker is accented with nubuck leather trimmings. The foot is secured with a lace closure reinforced with an elastic bungee on the tongue. Underneath, the multi-part sole is inspired by three of adidas’ trademark shock-absorbing technologies to help increase stability and impact protection.
