The Eddie Huang x Superstar 80s was a limited edition collaboration between adidas Originals and chef Eddie Huang. Designed for both the kitchen and the streets, the shoe boasts a flame-retardant black nubuck upper with a steel-reinforced black shell toe. It also comes with pink ‘Huang’s World’ branding on the heel, a waterproof inner bootie with contrast pink stitching and a non-slip rubber on the outsole. The footbed also features a map inspired by Huang’s food and travel TV show Huang’s World. It dropped in September 2016 alongside the ‘Eddie Huang x Adilette Slide’ at the New York City pop-up ‘Eddie Huang Been Soigne’ before its wider release in October 2016.
