Making FW23 With the Cast of GOAT’s Style Catalog
Exploring the past, present and future of style through the personal stories of six rising creatives.

GOAT’s first-ever Style Catalog explores style across time. Spotlighting six burgeoning figures from the worlds of fashion, music and art, each look brings together era-defining designs from archival collections with avant-garde pieces from new seasons. Shot by Latvian artist Ilya Lipkin and styled by Japanese-born, London-based stylist Ai Kamoshita, the accompanying visuals allow both the individual and the clothing to become the focus, proposing a vision of style in 2023.
Below, meet the characters who populate the universe of Style Catalog FW23.
2000s. Grunge. Punk. I love the 1920s as well.
Georgia Palmer
NAME: Georgia Palmer
LOCATION: London, NYC
Hailing from Birmingham in the north of England, Georgia Palmer is known not only for her commanding presence in shoots for magazines and brands, but also for her fearless approach to personal style. Melding irreverent rave influences with a grungy sort of glamor, her tastes have been shaped by the dancefloors of London’s underground music scene and a mixture of eras and subcultures, including the Roaring ’20s, punk and Y2K. “I'm quite feminine and masculine,” she shares. “So I always play on incorporating those signifiers into my outfits. That's the character I go for.”
NAME: Chito
LOCATION: NYC
“I’ve been making art since I was a kid, so I just keep doing it,” says Chito, whose cartoonish spray-painted dogs have headlined collaborations with Givenchy, Rimowa and Supreme. The Seattle-born artist’s relationship with fashion stretches back to his adolescence, spurred by his first Issey Miyake and Raf Simons pieces. Chito’s look for Style Catalog FW23 reflects this story, featuring items sourced from over two decades of boundary-pushing menswear. Highlights include a top by MAISON MARGIELA (2001) and pants by RAF SIMONS (2018).
NAME: Suki
LOCATION: Paris
Suki is a bold new force in the Paris music sphere. The singer-songwriter, model and aspiring motor mechanic describes her personal style as “boyish and simple.” Growing up, she explored the cultural codes of goth and metal, but today her daily uniform consists of a simple white tee and jeans—preferably mixing Helmut Lang’s minimalist designs from the ’90s with new-season Coperni. Vintage pieces, she says, will always be her preference for the straightforward reason that “so many amazing clothes already exist.”
NAME: Tian
LOCATION: Beijing, NYC
Born in Beijing and now based in NYC, Tian is a rising model to watch. Off the runway, she loves to play with bright color palettes when dressing herself, taking inspiration from the brands and creatives she has worked with as well as her style hero, Kiko Mizuhara. Tian finds inspiration in the circular nature of fashion, often wearing an oversized coat from her mother in the winter. “I like vintage because I can feel the age of the item,” she shares. Tian’s look for GOAT Style Catalog FW23 builds on this ethos, pairing a top by JOHN GALLIANO (2000s) with sneakers by RICK OWENS DRKSHDW (2022).
NAME: Ryu
LOCATION: Tokyo, NYC
Tokyo-born, NYC-based creative Ryu has a very specific personal look: “gorpcore, if it were set in the ’70s or ’80s, with a twist of pirates and cowboys.” Engaging in all manner of tactile creative pursuits outside of his modeling career—including drawing, woodworking and capoeira—the items in his closet are marked with their own stories about his life, from sap-stained leather jackets to worn-out Ralph Lauren cargo pants. His unique approach to fashion, he explains, was born when he stopped trying to emulate things that he saw and just wore what he liked.
NAME: Cranston
LOCATION: NYC
Cranston is a creative who likes to play with opposing forces. A lover of flowers, nature, music, image-making and design, his favorite modes of style are those which wilfully break the rules, such as Bottega Veneta’s “manly” shirts worn on women, and “frilly, dainty” pieces on men. Cranston’s visual aesthetic emphasizes texture and gender fluidity, sharing that his favorite piece is a zip-up fleece he inherited from his grandmother, while his style is both “classic and timeless, with touches of punk and Y2K.” This sensibility is alluded to in his look for Style Catalog FW23, layering a vest by TAKAHIROMIYASHITATHESOLOIST (2018) over a sweater by LOUIS VUITTON (2017).
